Ezekiel: God who travels Chapter 11

Writing in Tongues

I’m really feeling an immense excitement to write about prophecies right now, and I’m holding back—lest I overflow and start writing in tongues! 😄 Please, God, contain me. Holy Spirit, fill me with joy as I write today, and continue to speak through me—in tongues, or even in writing. Nothing is impossible!

Introducing the Holy Spirit is not easy, and writing about it is even harder. But who is the Holy Spirit? Simply put, the Holy Spirit is the divine Spirit of God.

For believers, sensing the Holy Spirit is powerful and undeniable. Yet for those who don’t really understand, it remains mysterious.

The Holy Spirit is truly mysterious, but the Bible never stays silent about it.

Our Bible speaks loudly of the Holy Spirit’s presence—it is undeniable.

We cannot define its gender. Jewish scholars refer to the Spirit as “He,” while the Greeks consider it neuter or genderless. We won’t argue that here, but by faith, we accept the Holy Spirit’s manifestation as the divine power that works to bring out the best in human existence—walking with God on earth, while we are still both flesh and spirit.

In fact, the Bible itself is the chief work of the Holy Spirit, from ancient times to today. The Holy Spirit is alive, never sleeping, actively working even as I write. It searches the hearts of mankind, examining and asking: What is my purpose? To strengthen humanity.

The power of the Holy Spirit is knowledge. So, if you suddenly don’t know—and now you know—that is because the Revealer of Truth has already revealed it to you ahead of time, assuring it will happen before it actually does.

This is the surest, most obvious sign that the Holy Spirit is at work—and it’s not just you.

Going back to true prophets and their prophecies—can we accept that God warns of false prophets who will mislead and speak lies about the future?

Who is at work in them?

Are evil spirits involved?

Can we say the Holy Spirit is always battling these evil spirits?

This, my friend, is the heart of the matter.
