Ezekiel: God who travels Chapter 9

 All or nothing at all

Truly, as I read the book of Ezekiel, I sensed that God may have really stepped down and brought His throne in some place between heaven and earth together with his cherubs, and high-ranking angels to meet Ezekiel.

Is it safe to think that God felt this is so important to do, with this one reason: to end all forms of idolatry as a way to save His people, His children from defiling His name?

When God took this huge step, the King of Kings in His Majesty had to show off all of His glory and put it all in this one man named Ezekiel to serve God's purpose?

Again, its your "all or nothing at all" perspective. Whether God does it or not, He should not be reduced to some being called Alien or equate His Throne to a spaceship. Because to compare God this way is to bring in Idolatry to worship God in an alien form? Equate God's throne to a spaceship? Again, this is an obvious form of Idolatry. We don't wanna go there.

We say, with God everything is possible but with idolatry, God is reduced. Reducing God is the absolute defiling of His Deity, His Nature, His Lordship, and His God being.

If God loses man because of idolatry, what is man losing to God?

Hard tough question.

The answer we are seeking is what God has already told us NOT to do. Yet man always seeks God in idolatrous ways. God won't be tired of doing this every day, believing that man may somehow remember His Name... is to revere, respect, and honor. Then meeting Ezekiel is decided, to give man an inch of who God is, what was the exact description of what man is losing if God loses man to idols, worshipping the wrong god.

My point is this, if God can only say, we should feel, He longs for Man, He longs for us all. So He comes in a place where Ezekiel nearly lost all of his life. God has to pick him up, God has to feed him with coal to warm him up and preserve his life. God has to say this loud to Ezekiel as He trusts this Prophet to deliver both blessings and curses, visions of the future kingdom. God exposed His "Great I Am" face with only a thin veil left. This is God's glory, man should revere and not succumb to the reverie of alien teachings.
